Privacy Policy

Quotemaxxing is a daily quotes app made by Nodewave. We collect as little as possible and the app works without you ever creating an account or giving us an email.

What we collect

• An anonymous identifier. When you first open the app we create a random anonymous ID so your subscription and (optionally) your backup can work. It contains no personal information.
• Purchase information. Subscriptions are processed by Apple. Our payments partner RevenueCat receives receipt data tied to your anonymous ID so the app knows your plan is active. We never see your payment details.
• Usage analytics. We use PostHog to understand how the app is used (screens viewed, quotes saved or shared, subscription events) so we can improve it. Analytics are tied to the anonymous ID, not to your identity.
• Backup data, only if you sign in. Backing up your library with Apple or Google is optional. If you do, we store your saved quotes, streak, and notification preferences so they can be restored on a new phone. Sign in with Apple can hide your email from us.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not show ads or share data with advertisers.
• We do not read your contacts, photos, location, or anything else on your device.

Notifications

Quote notifications are scheduled locally on your device. You choose how many you get and you can change or disable them anytime in the app or in iOS Settings.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account and all backed-up data from inside the app: You tab, manage your backup, Delete account. This removes your data from our servers immediately and cannot be undone. Content stored only on your phone is removed when you delete the app.

Where data lives

Backup data is stored with Supabase. Analytics are processed by PostHog. Purchases are processed by Apple and RevenueCat. Each of these providers processes data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
